I’ve been depressed lately but I say that I’m happy

Still got these feelings, I don’t think he’ll understand

I feel the blood rush to my brain when I touch his hand

We’ll just ignore the problems 'til we all forget

Something’s in the distance, something, something

My further light and knowledge gave me second sight

I think I lost the spirit, maybe it’s a sign?

Let’s say I gave up God and Jesus all in the same night
