Unconscious contortion of values

A tangible depiction of what we’d all assumed to be the truth

The quest for a constant only spells out an end

As her tears crash on distant shores

If only I could be so grossly incandescent

(Heavy with an indelible sense of vanity)

Your delicate face in the fading light

(Escape from the rain by way of the secret stair)

As we experience

A black wizard’s waltz

The allure of dawn pushes us forward

With the promise of the world’s end

Looming over our heavy heads

We will retreat from the land of the impure

Make your way down from a window to the west

We’ll go on your mark

The slightest whisper will mask our escape
