Shipwreck - The Intersphere

It’s time to leave this sheltered place

I don’t look back before I go

Deep underwater breathe in the sound

The current of the stoic sea

Is floating me down to the mysteries

Of shipwrecks and treasures hidden on the ground

Feels like a long-lost dead

Awakes from a lasting rest

Exhausted from wandering

Search for the unfound

I get hold of my self-restraints

All-embracing darkness is my only friend

To gather new courage — I abandoned every try

To take my mind off — I came up with a better lie

Introspection’s my sense of dread

'Cuz childhood shaped the riverbed

I flow down to where I left high and dry

Where I was shipwrecked, lost and where I died

The more I get into the deep

The more I catch my destiny

My evolution, unveiled and profound

Every secret that was sealed in my mouth

Will be revealed when time has come

To find the answer I’ll turn every stone

Will I ever be free?

Lying in between

Me and the unknown

That wants to be found

I come back to the place where I got lost and died
