What I See - The Constellations

Twenty-four hour bars, noisy passing cars

Street lights swelled with stars

Like sidewalks and broken hearts

The homeless and wealthy walk

the same streets with bodies chalked.

The outline is washed away

to guide us to another day.

What I see is a city full of people looking

back at me;

wonder if they’ll see what I see
