Walking Up a Hill - Teitur

Last night I had a dream I was walking up a hill

I picked berries on my way and I got to know the hill

I got to know the redwings and their every song and call

I knew why they were so loud, I knew why they were still

I got to know a stream, it was hidden 'neath the moss

And I got to know my path and the perils on the hill

I got to know a raven who followed me around

I sang a raven’s croak and he was happy on his wings

When I reached the top I went back down the hill

I met some strangers there, I gave them berries on their way

I told them about the redwings and when to leave them be

I showed them where to drink from the stream on the hill

I showed them where the raven would follow them until

They reached to the top of the hill
