Everyday I wake up

With weight on my shoulders

I get up, I give up

I have no purpose

No reason to be alive

The constant search for meaning is clouded by my eyes

Every second, every minute, everyday

It’s exactly the same

I tell myself I’m okay

I know I worry, yeah I know I worry but

I am not okay

Unhappiness and loneliness

Only fuel the cause

An empty shell, a mannequin

Of the person I once was

I’m leading myself blind

From nothing to nowhere

With only the sound of my heartbeat

Letting me know I’m alive

My reflection is a stranger

Imperfection’s in my nature

Why do I put this pressure on myself?
