Time has told a story.

Words carved in so deep they’ll never fade.

Weather will never wash away these memories.

This friendship will last the test of time.

There are mountains we’ve walked upon.

Though our footprints have faded,

our steps still echo.

We’ve battled immortal beings.

We made them beg for death.

We have prevailed over everything.

I’ll never stray too far from what I know,

cause even when I’m alone I know I’m not on my own.

Courage and strength, our fortification.

You can’t break these ties that bind.

Where the trees part and fruit is found.

It’s been six years,

the grass below me feels softer than ever.

The sun will rise and vanquish all.
