To my pops: Know that I’ll be there for you

'cause you made me the man that I am and that’s true

Perhaps you might be forgotten or underestimated

But your presence in our life is the most anticipated

I know the Mothers get all the credit and the attention

And your name sometime is not even mentioned

So I’m sending out this appreciation

To the fathers all around and across the nation

You work so hard to put the food on the table

Taking extra late night shifts to keep us stable

You taught me how to be a gentleman and live life

How to survive the struggle, the stress and the strife

How to take a decision

How to chose wisely

How to be responsible

How to make a family

You took me from a boy to a man

So I thank you my father

'Cause I know the ups and downs didn’t bother

When I need an advice, you’re the one I’m seeking for

My inspiration in this life, keep us safe and secure

No one can understand what you go through sometimes

But you still standing tall so we can have a peace of mind

When times are rough, you never let us know

When things are tough, you still go with the flow

'cause you are the strength that holds us together

Sacrificing what you have no matter how’s the weather

So I thank you for my life and all the things that you did

And all the sweat and all the tears and all the blood that you shed

And all the time that you raised me to be a better man

So when they say like father like son I understand

وذقت المر و ما ارتويت واوليتوني الأهتمام

كنت ولازلتو قدوتي في التفكير

نعم ابويا عزوتي في التدبير

علمتوني حب الناس رغم اختلاف الأجناس

علمتوني حسن الظن مهما زادت المحن

ومهما قلنا مستحيل ان نرد هذا الجميل

عودتوني بالكفاح اقدر اوصل للنجاح

وان العبره بالأيمان وان الحكمه في القرآن

وان رضى الوالدين زي الدنيا سلف ودين

ابي ابويا باب الوالد ابتاة

اللي يمشي على خطوات ابوه ماتاه

حرصتوا على إنه إحنا نكون أحسن الناس

بالأخلاق والمعاملة ودايماً رافعين الراس

ضحيتوا بحريتكم وصرفتوا دم قلبكم

وإحنا كل إلي نسعاله رضاكم و راحتكم

توفروا الحماية و الأمان و الخوف علينا

ولمن نطلب أي حاجة تكون موجودة بين إيدينا

أحسن لبس, أحسن مدارس, والسيارة نمتلكها

كيف يفيدنا الوقت في كل فرصة نغتنمها

لمصلحتنا ربيتونا و علمتونا و ضربتونا

ولمن كنا نسوي الغلط كنتوا هنا تنصحونا

تعبتوا بس صبرتوا, كفيتوا و وفيتوا

لا حأعد و لا حأحصي إلي من أبويا لقيته

قدوتنا و مثلنا الأعلى و محل فخر

إلهي ربنا يحميكم من كل شر

رب الأسرة و سيد البيت ما نقدر نستغني عنكم

وحقول نيابة عن الكل إنه إحنا نحبكم
