Alone in a vast desolate meadow

Beset by thickets of dense trees

The breath of wind blows savagely beneath the web of lightning across the sky

I feel a presence

A faint voice carries through the storm

A silhouette appears against the illuminated sky

Approaching in your burial gown

Your empty eyes gaze upon me

Inflicting pain on the undead

Fear and dismay cloud my mind

Dance among the fallen leaves

I watch you from afar

Many years since we played

Amongst these old trees

Harsh gusts of wind

Crack the limbs of surrounding trees

A ghostly mass assembles

Thousands against one

You place your curse upon me

So I’ll join you in the land of the dead

Gasping for air

The mass tries to take my soul

Disguised as the one I once knew

I realize it was never you

Depart from here
