There was once an evil queen who waved the wand and blighted the land

No school no hospital was set in the killing touch of her hand

When a queen evil sat

Will you leave us in peace?

This queen was not alone she was egged on by loads of goblins

Her wish was there command they would weave spells and spell death

«When it hurts,"the son sang

«Will you leave us in peace?»

But currently help was nigh because of gathered Welshmen

Gathered round a lovely band from all those who wished to see

Freedom and democracy joyfully the poor people sang

The people sang

Could it be that now better days will come along?

So one they gathered here and all his men who egged him onward

Fell on the wicked palace they rid the land of the queen

Could it be that now better days will come along?

But I see what’s clear the evil’s dead the queen had gone

The head beneath the crown had changed but all else remained the same

The land was still laid to waste so sadly the poor people sang

The people sang
