A Woman out of Snow -

Once happy tale broke yesterday

A dream gone sour, it could not last

I’ll now reclaim my destiny

Leave behind those awful times

Always cold as I talked to you

Felt the breeze within my soul

Different eyes and different views

I know I had to let you go

So did you find your way out?

I saw you drift so very far

Now you have been replaced:

I’ve made a woman out of snow

In the ancient days they sang

About a man who forged his dream

A golden girl with silver feet

Silver eyes, in icy sleep

I don’t know how to do that

I am a man of snowy fields

Suffering this sunlight

I watch her slowly fade away

I’m warmer every day

Hopelessly lost in blinding light

When she is gone, they say

I’ll find a fountain and a stream
