Lethargie und Einsamkeit begleiten sie

Und ich winde mich in mich hinein

Und der Sturm zieht auf

Peitscht die Wellen auf

Könnte ich mich doch erheben

Und noch einmal zu Dir sehen

Und ich spräche — ich würde sagen:

Du bist hier — jetzt ist alles gut

And the stillness becomes frightening

Lethargy and loneliness are their accompaniment

And I curl into myself

And the storm approaches

Whipping up the waves
