Took a holiday

To a country house some miles away

In my suitcase lay

A book on how to keep feelings at bay

It turned up one day

In nothing I would dream everything I hoped you’d be (?)

I was cyncial at first

If you looked at us on paper we would never work

But paper’s paper thin

Kamikaze Origami threw it in the bin

Cause we’re all in the rain

Fighting through the terror of never knowing

If we’ll lose or win

But love is not a vicorty march not every love is built to last

Heart of gold or heart of glass

It’s all the same behind the mask

To be seen just as you are

Is all that love will ever ask
