Wood Nymph - Hawkwind

In a clearing inside a wood

I saw her form close to where I stood

She touched my hand

Silent tendrils of the mist

She felt my face, then a tender kiss

She touched my hand

I was led to a cavern deep

Where I fel l into a golden sleep

She touched my eyes

Rays of wonder seal of fate

The dreams I had were so intimate

She kissed my lips

What I thought was a few minutes there

A lifetime passed but I didn’t care

She touched my hand

Just to lay in those golden arms

Embraced by her magic charms

She touched my hand

Fires Burning in the night

Dark eyes shining so bright

Nothing in nature ever ends

It’s al l reborn as Earth transcends

My Breath is leaving I’m old and grey

I have my dreams of that eventful day
