It’s sad, but it’s true

We’re all pretty strange

When our friends try to help out

We push them away

And it’s all in our nature

What we’re like on our own

They like to be left alone

And nobody wants to be perfect

And though we all make some bad choices

It’s rare that we ever regret them

And when those bad choices are people

It’s even harder for us to forget them
