I love this town, let’s burn it down

The traffic buzz, the engine sounds

Somehow the noises calm me down

All though I’m never homeway bound

The smell of the polluted air

Somehow makes me think of how complex your eyes can be to read

You’re out to lunch all the time

I’m out of touch all the time

The synthesis of you and me

Would not have been same without the pain

Our sad and joyful alchemy

Is nothing but these very streets we stroll everyday

You’re the carnivore, I am the prey

I sleep between the teeth in a lion cave

The way you always curse, I tend to pray

You call me nasty names I’ll take them to my grave

The sunset sure is beautiful

But also pretty trivial
