I bleed and I hear laughter

A million voices talking to me

I can’t forget and I can’t break free

I keep on walking on broken glass

I try to walk the walk and not just talk the talk

I’ve got my fingers in the dirt now

I will not pay the cost, too much time’s been lost

But still so unsatisfied, can’t get this out of my mind

Confused and tired of starting again

Every word I hear is tainted
