Descending from my mortal life

Falling to the depths

Of the abyss

Crashing down

From my existence

What is this nightmare?

So strange

Intangible

Yet so real

This must be the end of me

And at once

Everything comes to a stop

This place grows cold and silent

A stillness like I’ve never felt before

I can feel terror coming

A hanging dark presence looming

From the haze approaches a figure

A shadow, a void, a chasm of nothingness

As it draws nearer, shivers shoot through my soul

Encased in smoke

This demon trudges forth

With me in its gaze

«I am the lord of lies, a beast of illusion

The great deceiver

Now is your chance to rewind

To go back in time and

Leave this all behind»

And what’s this chance?

I’ve gone to the end of the earth

To find an answer

«You deserve to let her live

But to be without her

And free from her memory»

This offer will leave me

Desolate and lost

It’s the only way to bring her back again

«You'll have to destroy yourself»

Take pity on my soul

I can’t live with this regret

Please make me forget this torment

«I will erase it all»

I can live again

But without her

I will never be complete

I must let her go

To know that she is alive

As I am ripped from this existence

Time is tearing to make this seam

Has vanished before my eyes

Captivated by the state of bliss in my unconsciousness

I’m slipping from reality

I do not remember

What I was living for

I just can’t seem to grasp

How I’m feeling

So incomplete and disconnected

My mind lays in ruins

Stripped of my salvation
