It’s over now.

It’s all burned out.

At last — now we know.

All must end.

We scored the earth then we broke the sky.

Now it ends, once and for all.

Steel yourself, we’re going home.

The light starts to fade and the darkness grows near,

In a world without limits we’re watching right here.

The glow in the distance draws ever on closer,

As the end calls our name we’d all hoped for the answer.

We’ve all had to change but it’s not been for the bad.

When all of these fears were all that we had.

We set fire to the sky but no lines have been drawn.

So we all burn the same and we’re ashes by dawn.

You’re angry now.

We understand.

So let it go.

You’re in this with me,

And the mess that we made,

Steals the life from all.
