Blown Away - Thunder

If there’s a reason for everything I’m feeling

It’s a lesson I should’ve learned before

It takes such a long time striving and achieving

But it don’t take long to hit the floor

My motivation was never any problem

In my heart I knew the way to go

But for the first time I can’t see my direction

It’s the one thing I thought I’d always know

While I live thru the same old day

In the fading tail lights of another lie

When do I get to touch what I’m reaching out for?

What am I reaching out for anyway?

When I was young I never saw a complication

Only black and white but now it’s shades og grey

When the clock ain’t moving, what’s another day?

Self-esteem is crumbling and there’s no-one else to blame
